Weisner Real Estate, Inc. is a company rich in Eastern Shore history and family participation. Raymond A. Weisner moved to Salisbury from New York and established Deer's Head Realty Corporation in 1938, and real estate brokerage business, known as Raymond A Weisner & Associates. Vic Stephens became a partner in the brokerage business in the 1960's, and the name of the company was changed to Stephens-Weisner Real Estate. When Raymond passed away in 1971, Vic took over full control of both companies until Raymond's grandson Michael Weisner moved to Salisbury in 1974 and took over management of Deer's Head Realty. In 1980, Mike received his real estate brokerage license and opened his own real estate brokerage company, Michael C Weisner Real Estate, which managed commercial and residential properties for relatives. In 1994, the company went through another name change to become Weisner Real Estate, Inc and became a full service brokerage company.

 
   Michael Weisner is the president of the company, and has extensive experience in commercial and investment real estate. He is deeply involved with the Salisbury community. Having called Salisbury home for over 35 years, he takes a personal interest in the changes the city has experienced, and is involved in many community organizations. He is past president and treasurer for Salisbury Area Property Owners Association; past president of the Coastal Association of Realtors; Previous Realtor of the year for CAR; Executive Officer of the Parish Council member of his Church; Past Exalted Ruler, and has served as treasurer and trustee of Elks Lodge 817; former president of Eastern Shore Hospice Foundation at Deers Head Center; past director for the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, and was appointed a member of the Wicomico Library board of trustees for six years. 

   Katie Jones is Mike Weisner's daughter, and has been the property manager since 2006. She is also a licensed Realtor, and has experience as both a buyers and sellers agent. As a Realtor, she has gotten her GREEN designation, MD Workforce Housing certification, and participates in teaching the CreditSmart program throughout the area. She is very active in the community as well; she is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, served on the Networking Committee for Salisbury Young Professionals, is serving her second year as the Chair of the Government Affairs committee for the Coastal Association of Realtors, is serving as a 1 Year Director on the Board of Directors for the Coastal Association of Realtors, and has been elected as a 3 Year Director for the Coastal Association beginning October 2010.
